In case you aren't aware, the artist who created the icon that was/is the Obama campaign is named Shepard Fairey, and yesterday, his orignal 'Hope' piece was inducted into the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. It may not seem like a big deal, but that is huuuge for contemporary art and street art, in particular.
Just sayin'.
